The family of Candace Wesolowski wishes to honor their daughter, Candace, by presenting a monetary award to a deserving senior going on to higher education. This student must demonstrate an understanding that this award has been created because someone made the bad decision to drink and drive and took a life in doing so. It would make us proud to present a Candace Wesolowski Memorial Scholarship Award to a deserving senior.
Requirements:
Graduating senior with A/B average.
Attending a four-year university, or a two-year junior college, trade school or technology program with a goal of obtaining a bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or certification.
Involved in clubs/organizations that give back to the community and demonstrate such involvement by their actions in extracurricular activities.
Exhibit leadership qualities by demonstrating good judgment in activities outside of school.
The student should be a person who has made the choice not to consume alcohol or drugs during high school. They must show that good judgment during these difficult times has its reward. The student should be the kind of person who can show others that they believe in living life to the fullest without the aid of alcohol or drugs.
